What unwritten rules were handed to you as a child? In conjunction with his solo exhibition Fissure, artist Rich Harrington invites you into the studio for an intimate, hands-on workshop exploring the intersection of childhood memory, pop culture, and personal identity.
In this three-hour session, participants will learn how to treat personal archives—like childhood snapshots, old textbooks, and vintage games—not just as static history, but as sites for creative intervention. Guided by the artist, you will use mixed-media techniques including photo-manipulation, collage, text subversion, and vibrant color overlays to rewrite the narratives of your past and celebrate your authentic self.
No prior art experience is necessary.
