Walking Poetry Workshop In-Person

The poet Kathleen Rooney has talked about the Latin phrase Solvitur Ambulando, which means "It is solved by walking." The poet Robert Frost has written many well-known poems based on taking walks. There's something about the motion of walking and the observations we make that inspire poetry.

In the workshop, we'll take a walk outdoors, notebooks in hand, and see what discoveries we make; then we'll return to Soule Library to draft and share poems.
