Groovepin plays a healthy mix of originals and cover songs that range anywhere from recognizable hits to unique deep cuts. The sets are designed to have something that anyone and everyone can enjoy while still surprising the audience with an array of different vibes the band brings, without compromising the unique styles and voices of the individuals within the group!
Groovepin can frequently be seen playing a form of "musical chairs," switching instruments and bandleader roles mid-set so each song is served individually and for each songwriter to play his own compositions on the guitar they composed it on.
From heartfelt love songs and quirky indie jams to virtuosic jazz-fusion instrumentals, covers of classic videogame soundtracks, and deep, poetically rich, folk-y songs, Groovepin dives into the multi-genre world without making it feel gimmicky.
They take each and every vibe they bring to the table very seriously...when they're not too busy jokingly attributing every other song in the setlist to legendary American singer-songwriter, Bob Dylan.
