Postmodern Jukebox — the internationally acclaimed music collective famed for their time-twisting style, transforming well-known songs into vintage arrangements — has announced a new 56-date trek titled The Future is Vintage Tour. The tour kicks off in Finland on April 17 and travels through mainland Europe and the UK before heading to Australia and New Zealand in June.

Renowned for their joyous, high-energy live shows, the troupe of singers, dancers and instrumentalists will bring a brand-new production to stages — putting a retro spin on everything from ’70s rock classics and ’80s Britpop staples to today’s chart-toppers, movie themes and video-game soundtracks. Packed with dance-ready numbers and showstoppers, it’s a show that works for a big night out or a family outing.

Founded in New York by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee in 2011, Postmodern Jukebox began as videos recorded in a small apartment, transforming contemporary pop songs into vintage jazz, swing, and soul arrangements. What started as a YouTube sensation has become a global touring phenomenon, with sold-out shows on six continents and over a billion online views.

The rotating cast has featured a range of vocalists, musicians and performers whose charisma, stagecraft and musicality make Postmodern Jukebox shows distinctive. For more than a decade, fans have come for the music and for a meticulously crafted night of escapism, humour, virtuosity, and fun.

Speaking about the upcoming tour, Bradlee said:
