Make a Double Cross Woven Tray

Join visiting instructor Angela Eastman, a professional artist and weaver from North Carolina, for this special class where you'll be weaving a 12” tray or pie carrier basket from round reed. Suitable for beginners, or students with basket weaving experience who want to try out new weave patterns. Leave with a basket sturdy enough to be used daily and beautiful enough to hang on the wall!

In addition to a tray, you'll have the rare opportunity to take home several basket weaving techniques:
- double-cross base
- Japanese weave
- twining and twined arrows
- three rod waling
- four row rolled border

All levels are welcome. All you need to bring to class is a towel and a pair of snips. Moderate hand dexterity is the only prerequisite.
