Bombón Préndemela is the hottest edition of our collective perreo gathering. We are back at Tubby's to celebrate three years co-creating a Kingston Queer Perreo scene that brings our community together.

Llegó Mela, la que la prende, la mueve y la quema. We are living through such hard times but we are here to light each other's flame, in so many ways. Cuando se me apague la llama PRÉNDEMELA. As we gather, we invite all attendees to co-create safe, intentional, liberated dancefloors where we can express our energy and identity freely while centering and uplifting queer black and brown experiences. • Maldita Vaina, a Dominican-Sudanese, trans non-binary DJ. Music and sound are technologies that have sustained BIPOC stories and histories often left unwritten. Blending and mixing represent an opportunity to create counter-narratives, activated by movement. Maldita Vaina’s sets juxtapose Caribbean riddims, African electronica, and Afro and Arab diasporic club sounds. Centering Black, trans, and queer producers, their sets are playful, high energy and percussive; polyrhythmic tracks interlaced with deep Dembow cuts, Dominican Palos, and Gaga. They turn dancefloors across the world into spaces of fugitivity and collective reimagination. Maldita Vaina’s mixes have aired on Rinse France, Oroko Radio, Foundation FM, and Crop Radio. They have performed across the world, from Elsewhere in Brooklyn to Sala Sol in Madrid.

• Tokio, a first generation Mexican American dj based in New York City. She dominates dance floors with tantalizing mixes of reggaeton vieja, mexa and plenty of cumbiaton. As one of the resident djs of nyc’s hottest queer perreo party @trakata_nyc, Tokio’s mission is to subvert Latin parties by highlighting music made by women to prioritize the femme experience, while keeping the vibe sexy, sweaty and queer.
