Drawing on decades of field research across continents, Maria Brown brings audiences behind the scenes of real bat research — from mist netting and harp trapping in the jungle to modern bio-acoustic monitoring techniques. The presentation features photos and video of Maria in the Amazon rainforest capturing and releasing bats, offering a rare, firsthand look at how scientists study these extraordinary mammals in the field.
