Want show points, multiple judge evaluations, or just one weekend of MEGA fun with friends? We’ll do our best to get them for you. Following the success of the AOA Point System and the overwhelming interest in the Mega Show format, the Showtacular has brought this format into the fall and invited the Northeast Alpaca Expo along for the ride!

The format offers four events in two days: three halter shows and one walking fleece show. That means one trip away from the farm, one hotel stay, one CVI, one group of meals, and one set of miles on your vehicles.

There will be two rings, with one show each day: males in one ring and females in the other. When the first show ends, the second begins with a new set of judges. After the second show, the third begins with new judges again. The walking fleece show will take place while the halter rings are in progress.

You are not required to enter all four events. The Showtacular is an a la carte, plug-and-play model: enter any number of events that suits you. You can be busy all weekend or set your own pace. Entries are limited so judges can complete their assignments each day. Each show is limited to 280 alpacas. If there are more than 40 suris, they can have their own ring, allowing for more huacaya entries. Sign up early; the shows may close early. Mega shows have been selling out in just 12 days.
