About

Saturday, July 25, 8 PM: Peter Head will sing some new songs, create some loops, tell a story, and maybe dredge up a few older songs from the 30 year Pitchfork Militia catalog (his band). He may also bring and demonstrate some homemade instruments. Free cookies included.

All livestreams are freely available on the YouTube Green Kill Sessions channel and on greenkill.substack.com. Please consider making a five dollar donation. For access to full livestream videos for each event, subscribe monthly or annually to Green Kill Substack.

In-person tickets and venue info:
- Green Kill’s live events are intimate livestream productions with space for up to 30 guests. Once capacity is reached, the doors will be closed—so arrive early to be sure you get a seat.
- Tickets are $10, payable in cash at the door. Drop your payment in the ticket jar when you arrive.
- Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes before showtime so we can get everyone settled before the event begins.

Peter Head:
I realized years ago that if I’m making something, and it doesn’t really matter what, I’m happy. If I am not actively making something, I am less happy. I do a lot of automatic drawing to see what I can dredge up. I try to access the subconscious side of my brain. I try to keep busy and always stay open to the next weird idea, silly idea, dark idea, absurd idea…I always carry pen and paper and try to remember that even tying your shoes can be art if you draw the right frame around it.

About Green Kill and the Sessions program:
- Green Kill is 100 percent volunteer run. Money from subscriptions, donations, and ticket sales pays performers, the sound engineer, and facility operation costs. A single donation of five dollars from subscribers helps support continued programming.
- Green Kill Sessions are one-hour livestream shows. Performances happen Friday through Sunday evenings (except the first and third Fridays). Each event features a small in-person audience (30 seats) and global livestream access.
- Performers are expected to help promote their shows, arrive early for sound checks, and send in equipment lists ahead of time.
- The venue provides a full sound and lighting setup, including drums, amps, a digital piano, and livestream equipment.
- Earnings from ticket sales are split among performers, the venue, and the sound engineer. Green Kill shares event highlights on YouTube and Substack, giving performers professional-quality footage to use for promotion.
