About

Victory Season at Saratoga Siege Living History Weekend is a two-day, family-friendly event on October 10–11, 2026, at Fort Hardy Park, 30 Ferry Street, Schuylerville, NY. Living historians present activities commemorating the period between the two battles of Saratoga and the historic surrender by British General Burgoyne. The event includes historical demonstrations and hands-on experiences for all ages.

Schedule:
- Saturday, October 10: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Sunday, October 11: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Activities and features include:
- Revolutionary music: Learn about 1770s music with live performances by musician and historian Jack Marshall.
- Saratoga Voices performance: Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Dining Tent.
- Demonstrations and discussions on preserving the harvest, sewing and mending, bookbinding, medicine and midwifery, blacksmithing at a traveling forge, and more.
- American and British military encampments.
- Live artillery (cannon) demonstrations.
- Interactive presentation of 18th-century toys and games.
- Digital timeline displays and augmented reality exhibits at the Saratoga Revolutionary Experience Center.
- Food trucks, horse-drawn wagon rides, Saratoga 250 merchandise, prizes, and free Stewart’s Shops ice cream on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, while supplies last.

Admission and most activities are free and open to all ages. Register for the free “Siege Weekend Passport” for a digital guide to exhibits and early access to tickets for the major 250th Battles of Saratoga Reenactment in October 2027. Merchandise and prizes are available at the Saratoga Revolutionary Experience Center.
