Halloween Themed Art Journaling — $20.00
Join us for a Halloween themed art journaling class where we’ll explore the haunting eeriness of abandoned places.
Art journaling is a creative process focused on visual art-making as a form of self-expression, and it’s open to all experience levels. This recurring monthly class welcomes newcomers at any time and gives returning participants a chance to continue building their journals.
Class begins with a prompt or theme, followed by an introduction to a mixed media technique. Techniques may include layering, painting, collage, mark-making, printing, and stitching. All necessary supplies are provided. You’re welcome to bring a journal or a book that has special significance or that you’re already working in. If you’ve joined a previous art journaling class, please bring your altered book journal. If you’re new to class, you’ll be provided with a book to alter and use for your journal.
Classes at Thrifty Connections are intended for adults and suitable for individuals 16+.
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. As a small business with limited class capacity, we’re typically unable to refill seats or recover costs associated with cancellations. Classes also require advance planning, preparation, and gathering materials and supplies.
Note: Because we work with donated and reclaimed materials, class projects may vary slightly from examples shown in the monthly calendar. We embrace these variations as part of the magic and uniqueness of every session.
