Pianist Zlata Chochieva makes her Carnegie Hall debut this year. Renowned for her virtuosity and insightful interpretations, she performs a program of keyboard classics spanning two centuries.

Zlata Chochieva is celebrated worldwide as one of the extraordinary artists of her generation. Her acclaimed recording of the Chopin Etudes was selected by Gramophone as one of the 10 greatest Chopin recordings. She has performed at leading international venues and with major orchestras, and is a devoted chamber musician.

A protégé of Mikhail Pletnev, Chochieva studied at the Central Special Music School, Moscow State Conservatory, and Mozarteum University Salzburg. In 2025, she was appointed Professor of Piano at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. Born in Moscow to Ossetian parents, she now resides in Berlin. In 2018, she established the International Festival at Rachmaninov’s estate in Ivanovka and serves as its Director. She is an ambassador for Bärenreiter Verlag.
