About
"A journaling club is a different kind of gathering. A way to bypass small talk, skip straight into the good stuff, and create space for both creative solitude and community. A gathering that's equal parts tender and mischievous. A way to meet new people. To write together. To share - or not share. To surprise yourself.
A journaling club is simply a chance to be together in a different way - pen in hand, mind curious, heart open. What begins as ink on paper can turn into laughter in a room, a new intimacy, a reminder that connection itself is the most ordinary - and most extraordinary - alchemy we have available to us." - Suleika Jaouad, author of The Book of Alchemy: a creative practice for an inspired life
Together we will read one or two essays from The Book of Alchemy by Suleika Jaouad and then spend time writing from the essay prompt. There will be an opportunity to share what you wrote and to talk about the prompt.
What to know:
- Essays, notebooks, and pens will be provided; you are also welcome to bring your own notebook and pen.
