Folk Arts at Schenectady’s “Summer Block Parties”

Attend Schenectady’s Summer Meals Block Party in Hillhurst Park.

Appearing as a sponsored performance by New York Folklore will be Zorkie Nelson with participatory drumming. Ahmed Shah Wali, through support from the Schenectady Foundation, will be conducting a kite making and kite flying workshop.

All activities are free and are part of a community-wide initiative to engage Schenectady’s families in a free event with food and FUN!
