About
Ready to work on your Rhinebeck 2026 sweater? We are here to help! We have picked the Manou Sweater pattern by Isabell Kraemer for CeCe's Wool Knit-Along. It's a beautiful and simple colorwork sweater that can be made with any worsted weight yarn in two contrasting colors.
Our sample is made from our new Wool 'n US Targhee yarn in Pistachio and Lamb. It's incredibly soft and squishable. It's grown and spun in the US and we hand dye it in 15 vibrant colors. If you decide to make the sweater with the Targhee yarn you'll save 20% off the yarn when you purchase a sweater quantity. And there are lots of other options in the shop. It's perfect for a crisp fall day.
Manou is worked seamlessly from the top down. Some short rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck and then the yoke is worked top down to sleeve separation. Some last short rows are worked to finish the yoke shaping right before sleeve stitches are placed on hold, then the body is worked in rounds down to the hem. Sleeves are worked top down to the cuffs last.
We'll help you with several workshop sessions under the guidance of Lee Brice. There are three sessions - Aug. 9, 16, and 23 from 1:00-5:00pm. You can also join others making the sweater during Wed. night (5-8) knit-along at the shop and attend any yarn therapy session for support. You can also join our Rhinebeck 2026 knit along group on Instagram for encouragement.
