Friendly Little Strangers Artist Reception

Join us for a lovely art reception for the exhibition, Friendly Little Strangers. A collection of strange and sweet inner worlds from six artists who harness the power of whimsy. Their characters act as gentle avatars, inviting us to pause and reconnect with a sense of heartfelt, colorful subtlety.

An exploration of the absurd and the beautiful — a bright reminder of tenderness in a complex world. By transforming personal vulnerability into shared wonder, each artist utilizes their unique figures as emotional stand-ins. The outside world can feel heavy; these works use color and absurd delicacy to offer a defiant sense of joy. Together, these six voices harmonize to create a sanctuary where the “strange” is always “sweet.”
