17th Anniversary of the Run 4 Your Life 5k

We are back for a 17th year! Run 4 Your Life 5k focuses on firefighter cancer awareness and supports our local firefighters. The event provides education and acknowledgement of the dangers and health risks that the men and women of the fire service face on a daily basis within the City of Schenectady.
Schedule:
- Kids Fun Run will kick off the event at 10:00 AM, followed by the 5k/Walk.
Location:
- In front of the Central Park Pavilion in scenic Schenectady.
This is a USATF sanctioned event put on by an RRCA certified race director, offering competitive runners the opportunity to compete for podiums, trophies, and PRs.
After the event, join us in the Pavilion for warm chowder prepared by members of the Schenectady Fire Department.
The Schenectady Firefighters Cancer Foundation is proud to offer this family-friendly, community event. All proceeds go directly towards the mission and the work of the Foundation to improve the lives of Schenectady firefighters and their families when dealing with a diagnosis of cancer.
