Step aboard for an unforgettable journey through history as The SHEratoga Trolley Tour celebrates the extraordinary women whose courage, determination, and vision helped change Saratoga Springs—and the nation.
Led by renowned historian Nancy Baird Brown, this special 90-minute guided experience shines a light on the inspiring stories of the women who fought tirelessly for equality and the right to vote. Along the way, you'll discover bold activists, passionate reformers, influential leaders, and a few unexpected allies whose efforts left a lasting mark on our community and the women's suffrage movement.
This experience is divided into two parts:
- 45-minute guided tour aboard the historic trolley through Saratoga Springs, visiting locations connected to the people and events that helped shape this chapter of American history.
- 45-minute guided visit inside the Saratoga Springs History Museum at the historic Canfield Casino in Congress Park, exploring exhibits featuring women's suffrage, abolition, civic reform, and local history.
