Up and Down the Uke with Ron Gordon
December 5, 10 am–12 pm. $35.

This class gives you chord shapes that can be used anywhere on the ukulele fingerboard and, importantly, shows you how to use them together by key and chord progressions. These “closed chords” can also create a few different percussive and smooth jazzy sounds. We’ll apply this to a few great songs in different genres, and you’ll be ready to create your own uke arrangements.

Steeped in the traditions of early American and jug band music, Ron is a local master with a remarkable depth of knowledge and a passion for sharing it.
