Annie & The Hedonists

Annie & the Hedonists bring vintage blues, jazz, and Americana to life with soulful vocals, hot swing, and toe-tapping grooves.

Beloved by Caffè Lena audiences, the Saratoga-based band channels the great female blues artists of the 1920s–40s, including Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Memphis Minnie, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and Ella Fitzgerald, while adding their own joyful stamp. They have won Capital Region Thomas Edison Blues Artist of the Year in 2020 and 2025 and performed at festivals and concert halls across the Northeast and beyond.

At the Caffè Lena show:
- Annie Rosen – Lead vocals
- Jonny Rosen – Guitar, vocals
- Don Young – Upright bass, vocals
- Peter Davis – Piano, clarinet, and banjo

The band reimagines jazz age classics, dips into western swing, and weaves in rootsy folk and Americana. Their music has been described as “a sly, groovy throwback to the Jazz Age” (Sarah Craig, Caffè Lena) and “an intoxicating listen” (Joel Moss, 7-time Grammy winner).
