Saratoga Voices - One Land, Many Voices

One Land, Many Voices celebrates the rich variety and depth of the American musical landscape as we celebrate 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The program takes us on a kaleidoscopic journey, starting with the “Celtic Blessing,” through Native American songs, beloved folk songs, rollicking spirituals, and Paul Simon’s beautiful and contemplative “American Tune.”

The program also features a piece by our very own chorister, Michael Harrison, as well as pieces by Aaron Copland and Rosephanye Powell that evoke the hope of America as a Promised Land.
