JAZZ at Caffè Lena: Chuck Lamb Trio with special guest Jimmy Greene

Caffè Lena’s monthly jazz series returns with resident host and pianist Chuck Lamb, joined by GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist Jimmy Greene. Together, Chuck’s trio and Greene create spontaneous, exhilarating performances.

Jimmy Greene has performed and recorded with jazz greats including Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard, Kenny Barron, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Harry Connick Jr. His acclaimed album Beautiful Life earned two GRAMMY nominations, and Jazzwise called him “one of the most striking young tenors of recent years.”

Chuck Lamb has been pianist with the Brubeck Brothers Quartet since 2002. A prolific composer whose work spans jazz, fusion, classical, and world music, he moves from lyrical elegance to explosive improvisation. His recent album After Hours on Phila Street features original acoustic jazz fusion compositions inspired by personal relationships and joyful moments.

Founded with the vision and support of the late GRAMMY- and Oscar-winning producer Joel Moss, Jazz at Caffè Lena has grown into a regional destination for adventurous, forward-thinking jazz.
