Join us for another evening of jazz as Caffè Lena’s monthly series returns with resident host and pianist Chuck Lamb. A cornerstone of Lena’s jazz programming, Lamb brings fresh energy, deep musicality, and an open-hearted spirit to every performance.
Joining Chuck Lamb for this duo performance is GRAMMY-nominated Brazilian guitarist Diego Figueiredo, whose music blends jazz, bossa nova, classical technique, and the musical traditions of Brazil. Figueiredo has performed in more than 60 countries, earned honors at the Montreux Jazz Festival, and shared stages with musicians including Gilberto Gil, Stanley Jordan, Larry Coryell, Cyrille Aimée, Jeff Hamilton, Terell Stafford, and Wycliffe Gordon. George Benson has called him “one of the greatest guitarists I’ve seen in my whole life.”

Chuck Lamb, pianist with the Brubeck Brothers Quartet since 2002, is celebrated for his passionate, expressive style and dynamic range. A prolific composer across jazz, fusion, classical, and world music, Lamb moves from lyrical elegance to explosive improvisation. He recently released the album After Hours on Phila Street, featuring his original acoustic jazz fusion compositions inspired by personal relationships and joyful moments.
