For the season finale, the SSSO makes an appearance at UPH and Proctors! Joined by Saratoga Voices, the SSSO presents an inspiring celebration of music and poetry.
Program highlights:
- Florence Price — "Four Songs from the Weary Blues" (brings the evocative words of Langston Hughes to life)
- Vaughan Williams — "Towards the Unknown Region" (sets Walt Whitman's poetry to sweeping, emotional music)
- Mendelssohn — "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (captures Shakespeare's timeless tale of magic, love, and mischief)
Don’t miss the pre-concert talk with Artistic Director/Conductor Glen Cortese at 6 p.m. at UPH! It’s an excellent way to learn more about the music and an opportunity to ask questions about the performance. All are invited to attend.
Tickets are $17–$24. Children under 18 are free when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Saratoga Voices, under the leadership of Artistic Director Noah Palmer, is a dynamic audition-based community chorus in New York's Capital Region.
