Remaking the Baroness: Historical Sewing Demonstration In-Person

Inspired by the upcoming Saratoga 250 anniversary, Librarian Caitlin sets out to bring history to life with a sewing project.

Taking a cue from the Saratoga 250 augmented reality banner of Baroness von Riedesel that you may have seen in the library and around town, Caitlin will be making the Baroness' dress in a series of public sewing demonstrations to show the detail and craftsmanship that went into clothing during the revolutionary period.
