Main Street Matinees: The Nightmare Before Christmas
Location
About
Tired of scaring humans every October 31 with the same old bag of tricks, Jack Skellington, the spindly king of Halloween Town, kidnaps Santa Claus and plans to deliver shrunken heads and other ghoulish gifts to children on Christmas morning. But as Christmas approaches, Jack’s rag-doll girlfriend, Sally, tries to foil his misguided plans.
The Main Street Matinees series brings four free, family-friendly films to Rosendale Theatre this fall. The films are hand-picked by volunteers on the Programming Committee to capture the spirit of the season, with cozy autumn gatherings, beloved community traditions, and the joyful lead-up to the holidays.
This free movie series offers an easy, welcoming way for audiences of all ages to enjoy movies together in the historic Main Street theatre. The series is made possible by the generous support of the M&T Bank Charitable Foundation.
