Join us in celebrating Livia Vanaver and The Vanaver Caravan at Rosendale Theatre Collective’s 2026 Gala! Livia is the recipient of Rosendale Theatre’s inaugural f-Stop Fitzgerald Award, created in honor of our late founding member, Richard Minissali.
Livia Vanaver—dancer, choreographer, educator, activist, and co-founder of The Vanaver Caravan—has spent 52 years advancing world dance and arts education across New York State and abroad. Her honors from Arts Mid-Hudson, Mohonk Consultations, and the NYS Assembly reflect her artistic career.
Co-founded with her late husband, Bill Vanaver, in 1972, The Vanaver Caravan is a beloved Hudson Valley nonprofit known for joyful, tradition-rooted dance and music, enhancing the lives of generations of children for over 50 years.
Expect an evening of joyful celebration, creativity, community, connection… and plenty of dancing!
