Main Street Matinees: West Side Story (1961)

In Manhattan’s Upper West Side, rival gangs of Polish-Americans and newly arrived Puerto Ricans clash for control of the neighborhood, even as two young members from opposite sides fall dangerously in love.

The Main Street Matinees series brings four free, family-friendly films to Rosendale Theatre this fall. The films are hand-picked by volunteers on the Programming Committee to capture the spirit of the season, from cozy autumn gatherings and beloved community traditions to the lead-up to the holidays.
