Mixed Media with Hand Stitching with Maria DeAngelo

Spend an afternoon creating purely for the joy of making. In this mixed media workshop, you’ll learn how to build layered images that explore hand stitching as line, color, and texture, transforming simple materials into richly expressive artwork. Maria will guide you through a relaxed, hands-on process: learn a few basic stitches, create painted and collaged foundations, and use hand stitching as a dynamic mixed media tool. Thread, paint, and collage invite experimentation, intuitive decision-making, and a tactile sense of play. Sew much fun.
