Encaustic Mixed Media Collage with Tracy Loring

Curious about the luminous, tactile world of encaustic painting? This beginner-friendly workshop invites you to explore creating vibrant mixed media collages with thin, translucent layers of encaustic medium. Tracy will guide you through embedding papers and fabrics into wax to build depth, color, and atmosphere using this ancient technique.

You’ll learn to incorporate expressive mark making throughout your layers, experiment with encaustic texture, and discover how wax can transform simple materials into richly dimensional artwork. This hands-on workshop is for anyone eager to try something new, play with mixed media, or expand their creative toolkit.

Supplies are not included in the workshop fee. A PDF supply list is available in the workshop description. All levels are welcome. Come explore, experiment, and create something beautifully your own.
