Introduction to the CNC Router

The course begins in our computer lab with an orientation to the basics of CNC (what is CNC, understanding the software workflow, and generating toolpaths). It includes hands-on work with the CNC: each student will design and create a simple nameplate and execute it on the machine. Students will become familiar with the basics of CNC operations.

This class is a prequel to our more advanced project-based CNC Router class.
