La Traviata

Opera Saratoga presents Giuseppe Verdi's "La Traviata." One of the most beloved operas of all time, "La Traviata" is the story of Violetta Valéry, a Parisian courtesan who falls in love with a nobleman, Alfredo Germont. Despite his family's objections and her declining health, they share one of the greatest love stories of all time.

Verdi's masterpiece has influenced contemporary pop culture, serving as the narrative foundation for iconic films like "Pretty Woman" and "Moulin Rouge!"
