Walkie Talkie (Walking Tour - Challenging)

Have you ever been curious about downtown Kingston’s history? Have you wondered what the creek was like in its heyday, when business was booming? Come enjoy a walking tour of the Rondout waterfront from the Hudson River Maritime Museum.

You’ll learn about the D&H Canal and its contributions to the area’s culture, the different types of boats that have sailed the creek, the businesses that called this area home, and more.

Our tours meet right in the museum gift shop. Our educators will share stories and encourage you to share your own.

Tours marked "challenging" will include more uphill walking.
