40th Annual HMRRC Labor Day 5k and Kids Mile

The 40th Annual HMRRC Labor Day 5k and Kids Mile takes place on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Central Park Pavilion in Schenectady, NY. The 5k race and walk start sharply at 9:00 AM.

Day-of-race registration is available from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Online pre-registration closes at 6:00 PM on Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Entry fees:
- $32 — HMRRC members
- $40 — Non-members
- $45 — Day-of-race registration
- $30 — Military
- Kids Mile: $5 for children 10 and under
- Non Member Youth and Schenectady CSD XC: $20
- Youth Member: $16

The first 150 paid registrants will receive commemorative t-shirts.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female overall runners, and to the top three male and female runners in each of the following age groups:
- Under 11
- 12-19
- 20-24
- 25-29
- 30-34
- 35-39
- 40-44
- 45-49
- 50-54
- 55-59
- 60-64
- 65-69
- 70-74
- 75-79
- 80-84
- 85 and Older

No duplication of awards.

Complimentary snacks from Bountiful Bread and drinks are provided at the end of the event.

Results and awards will be posted at 10:00 AM on event day and available the same day at http://www.hmrrc.com.
