About
Young & Strange, the comedy illusion duo from Champions of Magic, return to Paramount Hudson Valley on February 5. Childhood friends Richard Young and Sam Strange have spent more than a decade headlining Champions of Magic and have performed in theatres and arenas around the world. They also appeared in London’s West End in Wonderville at The Palace Theatre.
Their fast-paced show combines stage illusions, special effects and comedy. Their friendship and rivalry are at the heart of the performance, as they compete and join forces to accomplish the seemingly impossible. After four consecutive Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, they received the Carlton Comedy Award from The Magic Circle of London.
The duo have appeared on America’s Got Talent, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, ITV1’s The Next Great Magician, Italy’s Tu Si Que Vales, The Today Show and Access Hollywood. Their online magic videos have more than 250 million views.
