About

Southern rock legends Molly Hatchet bring their hard-hitting sound to Paramount Hudson Valley on October 23. Emerging from Jacksonville, Florida, in the late seventies alongside iconic Southern rock bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet carved out a sound all their own—a powerful mix of English invasion rock, blues, country, and gospel.

The band exploded onto the scene with their 1978 self-titled debut album, which reached multi-platinum status and established their reputation for working hard, playing tough, and living fast. Their 1979 follow-up, Flirtin’ with Disaster, also achieved multi-platinum status and helped launch the band into the stratosphere. Molly Hatchet performed hundreds of shows a year and shared the road with Aerosmith, Bob Seger, The Rolling Stones, and many others.

More than forty years later, Molly Hatchet continues to keep the music alive with worldwide touring and classic hits including “Flirtin’ with Disaster,” “Devil’s Canyon,” “Gator Country,” “Whiskey Man,” and “Dreams I’ll Never See.” Long-time members Bobby Ingram on lead guitar and John Galvin on keyboards, along with Tim Lindsey, Shawn Beamer, and vocalist Jimmy Elkins, honor the legacy of past members while bringing generations of Southern rock fans the sound they know and love.

No outside food or drink is permitted in the venue. Patrons found with outside alcohol are subject to removal. Backpacks and large bags are not permitted. All guests are subject to bag checks and security wanding upon entry.
