Top of The World – A Carpenters Tribute

Experience the timeless music of The Carpenters when Top Of The World comes to Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill on March 7, 2027, at 7:00 PM. Celebrated as the world’s premiere Carpenters tribute, this production is fronted by Debbie Taylor, whose vocal resemblance to Karen Carpenter captures the warmth, richness, and unmistakable contralto tones that made Karen’s voice so beloved.

Backed by an eight-piece ensemble of professional musicians, Debbie and the band recreate The Carpenters’ signature sound and intricate arrangements. The group performs together without backing tracks or substitute musicians, with live keyboards, saxophone, trumpet, flute, and more. A multimedia slideshow brings the music and memories of the duo to life.

The performance features hits from the 1970s and early 1980s, including “Close to You,” “We’ve Only Just Begun,” “Rainy Days and Mondays,” “Please Mr. Postman,” and “Yesterday Once More,” along with stories and memories behind the music.
