Join Jennifer S. Tafe, Director of Mass Audubon’s Museum of American Bird Art (MABA), for a morning of art, birds, conservation, and legacy. Mass Audubon has been inextricably linked with art since its founding in 1896, commissioning the best wildlife artists of the day to create works meant to educate and inspire. The organization’s art collection continues to harness the power of art to encourage people to connect to their environment and to each other.
Dr. Jennifer S. Tafe is Director of Mass Audubon’s Museum of American Bird Art and a visiting lecturer at Suffolk University in the History of Art and Museum Studies. She earned her PhD in the History of Art and Architecture at Boston University. Before moving to New England, she worked as an educator and administrator in several museums in the DC area, including the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, the National Museum of Asian Art, and The Phillips Collection.
