Adirondack Holiday Festival

The Adirondack Holiday Festival is a weekend-long celebration in Glens Falls, featuring a variety of holiday-themed events for families and community members.

Friday, December 5:
- 5:30–8:00 PM: Festival activities in Glens Falls City Park and downtown Glens Falls, organized by the Glens Falls Collaborative.
- 5:30–7:00 PM: Holiday music in City Park by Big Show Entertainment.
- 5:55 PM: Santa Claus and Mayor Collins arrive by fire truck from Ridge Street.
- 6:00 PM: Holiday tree lighting with the Mayor, Santa Claus, Rudolph, and Clarice.
- 6:15–8:00 PM: Free activities on Glen Street:
- Visit with Santa Claus, Rudolph & Clarice near Crandall Public Library and Arrow Bank
- Goodie bags for children (donated by Arrow Bank)
- Photographer for Santa visits
- Balloon twists by Magic Mike
- Horse & wagon rides (board at the alley to Elm Street Parking Lot)
- Elf on the Shelf visits in Crandall Public Library Community Room
- Candy Cane Quartet strolling carolers
- Performances by Witch Way Wanderers & Bolton Dance Academy
- Downtown businesses & restaurants open late with specials
- Santa Letter Mailbox nearby

Saturday, December 6:
- Adirondack Holiday Festival at the Hyde Collection, 161 Warren Street, Glens Falls:
- 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM: Family Craft
- 11:30 AM: "The Grinch" movie and popcorn
- 1:00–3:00 PM: Visit with Santa Claus (registration required; link provided)

• Hometown Holidays at The Ed, 57 South Street:
• 1:00 PM: Eight area nonprofits decorate small holiday trees
• 1:30–3:30 PM: Regional Radio Group live remote (Pete & Dan)
• 2:00–3:00 PM: Bolton Dance Academy of Glens Falls performance
• 2:00–5:00 PM: Glens Falls Farmers Market vendors
• 2:30–4:30 PM: Reggie’s Red Hot Feetwarmers as The Dixie Santas
• 1:00–5:00 PM: Hot chocolate & cookies, food trucks, kids’ games & crafts, Santa letter writing station, face painting, photo booth

Sunday, December 7:
- LARAC Winter Arts Festival at the Queensbury Hotel, 88 Ridge Street:
- 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Over 50 artists featured in a large show

All throughout December:
- Holiday House Competition across Glens Falls
- Huge Gingerbread House on display in the Queensbury Hotel lobby

Most activities are family-friendly and focused on providing festive experiences around Glens Falls.
