April 18th @ 9pm – Out of the Box

Out of the Box looks forward to their return to 9 Maple, bringing their version of straight up jazz, seasoned with a bit of funk and plenty of groove to put a smile on your face.

Selected winner of the Albany Downtown Jazz Competition in 2011, they have been a staple of the greater Capital Region music scene for the past decade.

The core trio:
- Larry Gravett - keyboards and vocals
- Michael Hurt - bass
- Gary Nowik - drums

Saxophonist extraordinaire, John Savage, will join the trio for a night of jazz in all its forms. Don't be afraid to leave your seat and move your feet!
