Jack Brown’s Birthday Bash – 9/10

Join us for a one-of-a-kind live musical birthday bash hosted by Jack Brown, well-known singer of the legendary Syracuse band Sophistafunk! Besides being on TV with his Funky bandmates, Jack is also known for blending messages of peace and love with many styles of music, including hip hop, jazz, and of course funk!!

On September 10th, his actual birthday, Jack draws his sights on the vast well of musical influence that helped create his unique style. In this music-first exploration, you’ll take a tour through the eras, united by a beat that keeps you moving, while an array of his amazing artist friends interchange seamlessly during 2 smooth sets of music.

Featuring an improvisational troop of beloved local musicians + special guest guitarist Zach Tilton from Niagara Falls & DJ Edward Camp from Utica!

With elements of live dj, deep house, electronic jam, hip hop, & more all through the lens of contemporary jazz, this Birthday celebration is very special confluence of old school & new school vibes. Some might say, sophisticated AND funky!!!

- The 443 is an intimate listening room with table service that seats 75 people.
- The green squares/circles on the floor plan are bar-height tables, and the orange squares are regular-height tables.
- Multiple tickets purchased under the same name will automatically be seated together (up to 6 people).
- Requesting a specific table is a perk reserved for our VIP Patron members. Membership information is available.
- If anyone in your party needs special seating arrangements – walker, cane, service animal, wheelchair, low table requirement, or you want to be seated with another party – please EMAIL US after you place your order, and we’ll make it happen.
