Wayne Baker Brooks is considered one of today’s top guitarists whose signature style combines powerful vocals with liquid-fire guitar playing that honors his rich blues heritage while expanding the boundaries of the genre.

Born and raised in Chicago, IL among many prolific blues legends, Wayne Baker Brooks’ blues roots run deep. Chicago blues laid the foundation for his innovative style. Growing up, Brooks was a regular visitor to places like Chess Studios, Checkerboard Lounge, Wisefools, and other blues landmarks where he witnessed live performances by masters such as Buddy Guy, Jr. Wells, Luther Allison, Koko Taylor, Muddy Waters, and his father. The youngest son of blues master Lonnie Brooks — Wayne Brooks was literally born into the blues!

He joined his father’s (Lonnie Brooks) band as guitarist in 1999. In 1997 he formed the Wayne Baker Brooks Band and, while continuing to work with his father’s band, appeared in the film Blues Brothers 2000.

His acclaimed debut CD Mystery was described as “an album that brilliantly draws on blues, blues rock, soul, funk and beyond.” Mystery received multiple awards and praise from the music world.

Brooks has toured internationally and been featured on national TV programs (including CNN’s "Showbiz"), Universal NBC Sports, ABC, NBC (NYE 2023 with Billy Corgan & Everclear), and numerous radio programs. He performed for the First Lady at Chess Studios (Willie Dixon Blues Heaven Foundation) with blues legends Bo Diddley, Koko Taylor, Lonnie Brooks, and Billy Branch.

- The 443 is an intimate listening room with table service that seats 75 people.
- The green squares/circles on the floor plan are bar-height tables; the orange squares are regular-height tables.
- Most seats are sold as “Tables for Two” — one ticket admits two people.
- A limited number of single seats are available; single attendees may share a table with other single attendees.
- Multiple tickets purchased under the same name will automatically be seated together (up to 6 people).
- Requesting a specific table is a perk reserved for VIP Patron members.
