Winter Book Club

Take your time this winter, and nestle with NOPL and a good book.

This January and February, we’re digging into the 2024 Nobel Prize in Literature winner, We Do Not Part by Han Kang. We’ll go beyond the page to explore the book’s biggest questions, historical influences, and the conversations it’s sparked. We’ll explore themes, reactions, and outside perspectives—from articles to interviews to documentaries—to better understand this multifaceted novel. The discussion will be divided into two parts to explore the breadth of the story.

January 18: Part I, pages 3–132
February 22: Part II, pages 135–256

Registration is not required. Adults only, please. Books are available for pickup from the North Syracuse branch starting December 1.
