John Brown and Timbuctoo History Hike

The route follows the Potatofield loop at John Brown Farm State Historic Site and explores the story of the land use of this terrain: farmed by members of John Brown’s family, then by Lyman and Anna Eppes, and onward to the present.

• Distance: 2-mile loop.
• Elevation: ascends about 165 feet from the starting point at the visitor center to the edge of the upper field (part of Uihlein Farm).
