Beginning Gouache Painting

No prior painting experience necessary! This class is for anyone who wants to learn some very basics about painting. Gouache (pronounced gwash) is a water-based medium that is more opaque than watercolor and more forgiving than acrylic paint (in my opinion).

In the class we will cover setting up a basic composition, how to choose good photo reference, color basics, mixing paint and using the right brushes. We will complete a small painting on paper during the class.
