Open Floor

Open Floor is a songwriter community and open mic event held every 4th Thursday of the month at 7:30pm at The Waiting Room (Franklin Alley, Troy, NY).

Attendees are invited to bring an original song to share.

Each month features a Song Challenge: participants are encouraged to write and perform a song that incorporates a specific phrase released on the first of the month. For the current month, the challenge phrase is "Cry me a river."

The event is designed as a supportive environment to receive feedback, connect, and collaborate with other songwriters. It is an open, non-competitive setting for creative expression and community.
