Jimmy Carpenter – 7/28

Saxophonist, singer-songwriter, arranger, and Gulf Coast Records recording artist Jimmy Carpenter won the 2021 and 2022 Blues Music Award for Best Instrumentalist/Horn. He is also a Grammy-winning composer for a contribution to the New Orleans Nightcrawlers’ album Atmosphere.

Jimmy has toured internationally with Tinsley Ellis, Jimmy Thackery, Walter Wolfman Washington, Eric Lindell, and Mike Zito and the Wheel. His solo albums include Toiling in Obscurity (2008); Walk Away (Vizztone, 2014); Jimmy Carpenter Plays the Blues (Vizztone, 2017); Soul Doctor (Gulf Coast Records, 2019); and The Louisiana Record (Gulf Coast Records, 2022). He has been a working musician for over 40 years, spent many years in New Orleans, and now resides in Las Vegas, where he is the Musical Director for the Big Blues Bender and leader of the Bender Brass. He is the current president of the Las Vegas Blues Society and lives with his partner in crime and musical inspiration, Ms. Carrie Stowers.

- The 443 is an intimate listening room with table service that seats 75 people.
- The green squares/circles on the floor plan are bar-height tables, and the orange squares are regular-height tables.
- Most seats are sold as “Tables for Two” — the ticket admits TWO people.
- There are a limited number of single seats; single attendees may be sharing a table with other single attendees.
- Multiple tickets purchased under the same name will automatically be seated together (up to 6 people).
- Requesting a specific table is a perk reserved for VIP Patron members.
