Up In One Productions proudly announces its production of Groundhog Day The Musical. Critically acclaimed on both Broadway and the West End, and nominated for seven Tony Awards and eight Olivier Awards in 2017, and the Critics Circle Theatre Award for Best Musical in 2016. Groundhog Day is inspired by the hilarious film starring Bill Murray, and features a book by original co-screenwriter Danny Rubin and a sharp, witty score by Tim Minchin.
The cheery townsfolk of Puxatawny, PA are ready for their favorite groundhog to predict an early spring. After disdainfully covering the rodent's negative forecast, Phil Connors, a seasoned, big-city weatherman, awakens the next day only to discover it's February 2nd again. And again. And again. Will Phil accept that he is doomed to repeat the same day over and over? Or will he find the courage to change himself and his fate?
