Capital District Scottish Games

The Capital District Scottish Games take place on September 5, 2026, at the Altamont Fairgrounds, 129 Grand Street, Altamont NY 12009.

This event features a wide range of traditional Scottish activities and competitions:
- Pipe Band Events
- Highland Athletics
- Solo Contests
- Highland Dancing
- Stage Bands
- Children’s Events
- Charity Golf Tournament

There are opportunities to register for contests such as Pipe Band, Solo contests, and Highland Dance.

Ticketing and admission:
- Tickets are available now; admission at the gate is $25.
- Children 12 years of age and younger are free at the gates.
- Veterans and active military members receive a 50% discount on gate admissions by showing their ID card at the gate.
