Experience the Excitement of BMX at Tri-City BMX's Open Track & Community Day!
Children, youth, families, and residents of all ages are invited to this free community event to learn about BMX, meet local riders and coaches, watch races, and give it a try.
What to expect:
- Bring your own bike—a BMX bike is not required—or borrow one of Tri-City BMX's bikes.
- Preschool-aged riders can explore the Balance Bike Course.
- Learn BMX racing basics and bike handling from experienced riders and coaches.
- Take a lap on the track during open riding sessions.
- Enter your first race or cheer on participants in the Schenectady County Tri-City BMX Community Race.
- Watch fast-paced race demonstrations throughout the day.
Safety first:
- Helmets are required for all riders.
- Tri-City BMX strongly recommends wearing a long-sleeve shirt, long pants, and closed-toe shoes while riding on the track.
